🍰 No-Fail Chocolate Cake (Full Recipe)
Ingredients

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup water

⅓ cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon vinegar (apple cider vinegar or white vinegar both work)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth — the batter will be a bit runny, but that’s okay!

Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch round or square cake pan.

Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Frost with your favorite icing or just dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
